Olivier Gillotin created this 2007 Private Blend as Tom Ford’s take on an English gentlemen’s club. The house has always said it smells like pipe tobacco—not smoke, but the sweet, leafy, slightly boozy idea of it. It was marketed as masculine; women have worn it from the start.
