Every Bond No. 9 fragrance is a love letter to a patch of Manhattan, and this one is named for the street where the house keeps a boutique, at 399 Bleecker. It launched in 2005 as that stretch near Abingdon Square turned into a designer-boutique corridor — old Federalist storefronts filling with runway labels. The juice was built for that moment: green and tart at first (violet leaf, cassis, thyme), then cedar, jasmine, and cinnamon, then suede, oakmoss, and vanilla. Day-into-evening, not too heavy, with a dessert edge.
